The Swagatam Rama Fest is a unique online and offline celebration organized by ISKCON Samskriti to honor the momentous occasion of Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya. This event holds deep spiritual and cultural significance, as it commemorates the event that is globally recognized and celebrated as Deepavali (Diwali). Traditionally, the citizens of Ayodhya welcomed the Lord by lighting lamps, a custom that has evolved into the festival of lights, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
Through the Swagatam Rama Fest, ISKCON Samskriti seeks to recreate this spirit of devotion and celebration. The fest offers various contests like vocal music, mantra chanting, coloring, painting, and essay writing, allowing young kids and youth to participate and express their reverence. By conducting the event both online and offline, the fest aims to connect a global audience, preserving the essence of Lord Rama’s values while offering a meaningful platform to welcome Him back to His kingdom.
