Professor Barbara Sahakian from the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge once said:

“Reading isn’t just a pleasurable experience – it’s widely accepted that it inspires thinking and creativity, increases empathy, and reduces stress. But on top of this, we found significant evidence that it’s linked to important developmental factors in children, improving their cognition, mental health, and brain structure, which are cornerstones for future learning and well-being.”

To encourage children to read books, especially those centered on Lord Sri Krishna and His beloved devotees, ISKCON Samskriti organizes an annual global online test for students from Grade IV to Grade IX. The test features questions in a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.

The books prescribed for the various grade categories are listed below:

Steps to Participate:
  • Register for the Competition: Complete the registration process by filling out the form and submitting the required fee.

  • Access the E-Book: You will receive a link to our portal where the e-book is available. Log in using the user ID and password provided in the confirmation email.

  • Note: If you have opted for a physical copy of the book, it will be delivered to your residential address in 4–5 working days.

  • Read the Book: The key focus of this event is for participants to read the book assigned to their respective grade. These books are presented as engaging stories that children will thoroughly enjoy.

  • Practice with Sample Questions: At the end of the e-book on the portal, you’ll find sample test questions. These will give you an idea of the test format and platform.

  • Participate in the Mock Test: An online mock test will be conducted 2–3 days before the main test. Take this test to get comfortable with the platform and process.

  • Take the Main Test: Attend the main test on the date and time selected during registration. The test will be conducted online. After completing the test, you will see a thank-you message confirming successful submission.
